C11000 copper wire is formed into ball blanks by cold heading. The blanks retain material for subsequent sizing and finishing; they have not yet reached the finished diameter or surface condition.
Grinding removes excess material and brings the copper blanks closer to the specified diameter and spherical form. The machining allowance and finishing requirements are selected for the ordered size and tolerance.
Copper Ball Polishing
Polishing refines the surface after the preceding sizing operations. A bright appearance does not by itself demonstrate dimensional accuracy, so the finished copper balls still require inspection against the order specification.
Cleaning and Oil Removal
Cleaning removes process oil and polishing residues from the copper balls. For electrical-contact parts or components intended for further coating, the required cleanliness and any permitted protective treatment are specified before packing.
After cleaning, the steel ball will be qualified into the container through the sorting machine, and finally manually test to complete the whole process of steel ball production.
